The Degree will help me to achieve the skills and experience necessary to achieve my goals. My skills have continually improved within my various work experiences and I believe this would be the perfect next step to progress.
I thoroughly enjoy every aspect of Beauty Therapy, especially learning new skills and working with excellent brands. I also believe retail is important, because it furthers the effects of the treatment for the client and helps to maximize sale opportunities. I am looking for my Fourth position within the Industry, due to the Salon I was employed with closing down.
Working in a Beauty Therapist position, I believe I would also develop further my understanding for customer service and the beauty industry. Work flow Planning
At Boutique Village Nails, I learnt how to monitor stock and beauty supplies effectively and how to maintain the salon. Using the online booking system, and how to set up email notifications. I witnessed problems which can occur from lack of communication between staff members and how to effectively communicate. I adapted quickly to the change of environment and to working within a small team. I also noticed the difference in requirements from clients and the change of target audience, this factor was influenced by the businesses affluent location. I am looking for a new position within the industry because the business closed and unfortunately did not re-open in another location.
This position helped me to overcome obstacles and increased my confidence. I received excellent feedback from clients and became part of a great team. I also learnt new massage techniques and had in-house training from Elemis. I left this role because of a personal issue at the time.
