I am a hard working young individual who can work efficiently on my own or in teams of other workers. I am a keen learner who is always up to a challange and will always do a job to the best of my ability.
I currently volunteer on the North Norfolk Railway as an engine cleaner. Holding this role helps me get experience of early starts and long working days in all weather conditions. I have gained experience of working with different people on a daily basis and working in a safety critical enviroment with strict Health and Safety Rules in place.
From early May 2011 I have been delivering newspapers for Martin McColls from the Diss branch. Until September 2013 I worked every morning except Sundays. Since then I have delivered on Saturday and Sunday mornings only. Doing this I have gained experience at working in different and changing weather conditions and working different hours and times.
In this time I volunteered every Saturday in the Diss branch of YMCA Norfolk. In doing this I gained a large amount of experience of working with the public and got more confident talking to people that I do not know. I also gained experience working under the pressure of being left in charge for short periods. I spent some time working behind the scenes by preparing stock so it is ready for customers and organising delivery and collections of items with customers in person and via the shop landline.
