I handle multiple tasks on a daily basis competently, always working well under the pressure. Frequent acknowledgement of my contribution from senior management, illustrates still further my potential to add value to any company. I am a very confident and outgoing person, I enjoy working with both adults and children. My current job demands that I am switched on and focused whilst instructing children in dangerous outdoor activities/sports. I pride myself with having patience, yet am able to gain trust and confidence during the sessions. Persuading someone to jump from a 40 foot pole is not easy and that gives me a buzz to know that they have total confidence in me.
Children with special educational needs are special and require at times a lot more attention, reassurance and encouragement. I have demonstrated and I do believe that I have a natural affinity with these children, being able to set achievable goals and allow them to overcome and conquer their fears.
Progression Promoted to head lifeguard within eight months of employment. Completed my NVQ in activity leadership within seven months of training. Appointed leisure centre bar manager for the YMCA having gained my personal licence. Taking Group Leadership within five months of training.
