I feel this experience greatly improved my leadership skills as well as interpersonal skills. I achieved the Look at Life Course in the Army award.
Networking Skills – I am always delighted to meet people and work with them aiming to achieve mutual benefits and workable solutions. I developed strong relationships with legal professionals which led to securing a legal placement as a direct result of networking.
Organisational skills – I attained a certificate in Futures Award at Derby University. This project involved voluntary work involving file management, keeping up to date with time-sheets, Committee meetings, completing risk assessments, promoting activities set by the Law Society. I feel this further improved my already strong IT and communication skills as well as counteractively providing solutions to difficult challenges. For my continuous effort and dedication for holding the society's values and culture I was overjoyed to have been certified for the achievement. Simultaneously, receiving an achievement of Mickael Gilmartin Memorial Award for an overall performance of showing continuous effort, enthusiasm and engagement in the course.
