  • My role included:.
  • Developing the repair area.
  • Originally, Renovotec carried approximately 200 repairs & took on average 8 days to complete those repairs.
  • At the time of my departure, Renovotec were completing over 400 repairs per month with an average repair time of 2 days.
  • This was achieved by my redefinition of processes, training & parts procurement together with utilising space in a more efficient manner.
  • Increase the IT support service.
  • Renovotec have a service desk available to their entire customer base for assistance.
  • When I first started at Renovotec, the Service Desk was only closing on average 50 support calls a month.
  • By introducing a 1st & 2nd Line support structure, this increased to over 100 successful support calls being completed per month.
  • As part of my role I visited numerous major customers to deliver service reports.
  • This comprised of discussing SLA performance, viewing historical data & also addressing "pinch-points" through to resolution.

  • Symec's purpose is to support business by designing and delivering a perfectly tailored mobile technology solution.
  • This may involve mobile computers, data/ voice connections, barcode printers, electronic point of sale systems, RF installations, RFID technology together with other mobility products.
  • My brief when I accepted this role was to create an operational workshop and professional services for a new fast growing supplier of automated data collection devices and services.
  • The company has grown from 3 employees in 2012 to 35 in 2016.
  • During the past 4 years I:.
  • Developed the H&S policy, gained ISO9001 certification, manage operational delivery, technical support, repairs & service delivery.
  • Helped steer the growth of Symec from revenue of £2M in 2012 to forecasted revenue of £8.5M in 2016.
  • Implemented an upgrade from SAGE50 to SAGE200.
  • Managed the expansion of its repair capabilities by opening a new repair centre in Poland.
  • This increased the repairs per month from 200 in 2012 to 1200 in 2016.
  • I have driven the repair revenue performance from £19K per month to £85K per month.
  • Helped Symec win repair business with major retailers and logistic companies and worked alongside Symec's senior sales team to win solution sales for a major building merchant (Revenue £1.2M in 2015), home delivery company (Revenue £400K), major London private taxi firm (£1M) & Communications company (£600K).

  • Peak-Ryzex provides solutions helping businesses with their mobility, printing and wireless technology to increase employee productivity and profitability.
  • Solutions range from single mobility projects to comprehensive deployment and on-going managed services.
  • I worked with the management to increase Ryzex offerings to include new product sales, mobile device management sales & a combination of services that constituted a "Managed Service".
  • My role was to work on making these services real & deliverable.
  • Alongside this I managed a European team of technical resources ranging from consultant to support engineers and one project administrator.
