I have done two weeks work experience at Pets at Home Preston where I tended to the needs of rabbits, rodents, reptiles and fish. This also included good customer service and reliable communication skills. I have also done work experience for one day a week at Landorn kennel and cattery where I had to walk dogs, feed and water the cats and dogs, cleaning out their enclosures and some others.
I am a student at Myerscough college where i study animal management. This includes practical lessons where i have to clean, feed, and look after a variety of animals. It is a coursework based course meaning that on many occasions i have to meet deadlines for assignment hand ins.

In this work experience i had many responsibilities. This included cleaning the enclosures of the animals on the shop floor and those in quarantine, health checking the rabbits and rodents in quarantine and cleaning and correctly feeding the fish.
I am a member of K2 explorer scout unit meaning that i have many skills including communication skills, team working skills, problem solving, leadership skills and I am also first aid trained.
I am a friendly, outgoing person who enjoys a challenge and I love meeting new people. I am currently in my first year at Myerscough college studying animal management. I wish to go onto university to study zoology and working towards a career as a marine biologist.
