Throughout my four years of university I have managed to obtain over 300 hours of experience volunteering for many different charities and organisations who have held various types of events. These charities and organisations include the likes of VSA, Cash for Kids and Union Square. In my third year of university I was part of a team who helped organise a conference day for Scottish Universities, which was later nominated for an award at the Annual Scottish Event Awards. My biggest achievement however was an event myself and three other students held as part of an assignment to raise money for MS Society. Not only was the event a success in terms of attendance and the positive feedback which we received, we also managed to raise over £3000 for the charity.
