  • I was chair of trustee's for Acorn Playgroup & Pre-School (registered charity) for 3 years. During this time the Trustee's managed to reverse the financial trend we found ourselves in, through careful management of funds, introduction of a lunch club and well organised / plan fundraising events.
  • I also stood in as temporary Beaver Scout Leader (for 25 beavers 6-8 yrs) for 9 months, whilst a permanent leader could be found, in order to prevent the pack from closing
