Experienced Criminal Defence Solicitor for 14 years. I attend the Magistrates Court on a daily basis and have passed my higher rights to gain rights of audience in the for Crown Court. I work in a management role at my present company where I have worked for almost 11 years with a team working under me in the Crown Court department where I often study complex evidence and give guidance on issues of the documents. I also work as a valued member in a team in the Magistrates Court Department attending court daily.

Excellent communication skills in advocacy and team building and dedicated, reliable and professional as well as punctual and ambitious.

Advising clients both in the office and at court. Preparing cases according to the clients instructions and comparing the evidence accordingly. Protecting the client's interests as well as maintaining duties of being an officer of the court. This involves challenging evidence and putting forward constructive arguments before the court in a professional manner. This requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Undertaken and succeeded at drafting skeleton arguments challenging the admissibility of evidence the prosecution wish to rely upon. Also required to write detailed analysis of cases by way of reports and any appeals that require drafting.

Interests

I was a governor of a local primary school for 4 years and chaired the PTA at the school for 3 years. I currently hold the position of Vice Chair. This enables me to be involved in the local community and be able to use my leadership skills in a setting outside my work environment.


I enjoy reading and belong to a local book group reading a wide variety of different literature.


I enjoy doing personal interval training at the gym which I do twice a week.


I enjoy baking and have recently completed a cake decorating course and as a result of which I have made numerous wedding cakes and different occasion cakes for family and friends.
