  • Managing a team of four to specify and deliver the access network strategy for broadband transmission developments Test and diagnostics and DLM (Digital Line Management) this included the deployment of the first phase of the DLM tool to manage 1.8 million DSL lines on the Carphone Warehouse Network.
  • Integration of the AoL and Tiscali DSL network assets.
  • Training of fulltime staff to understand their assets and infrastructure.
  • Advising directors on future access network strategy and roadmap.
  • St Albans and Bristol, UK.
  • Design and test the Orange LLU "Superfast" ADSL2 Plus and annex M network for improved customer bandwidth and better customer experience.
  • Included design and implementation of their DLM tool, to enable an automated method to provide a more stable & reliable broadband network.
  • Successfully architected and tested the Orange LLU network for carrying mobile backhaul traffic from mobile base station sites, this was then adopted in the network growth strategy.
  • Successfully delivered the Orange "Broadband Recovery programme" this involved MSAN profile validation and DLM supplier competitive and feature validation.
  • In order to stabilise the LLU network for customer retention, future services such as TV and growth going forwards.

  • Gamma Telecom: IP Telephony Product Manager - Location: Harbour Exchange, London Delivered five IP Telephony services to market from a concept, through trials to a full customer service.
  • This involved writing of the product requirements specification.
  • The selection of and the working with suppliers on the aspects of the component products required to generate the specified services.
  • The specification of the services to the engineering and billing teams for their implementation, competitive comparisons, writing the marketing and training material, work with colleagues on the costing and pricing models.

  • Where I Project Managed the BT Retro-fit Test Access Matrix (TAM) roll-out, this involved: Working with BT senior management.
